Sorry for the delay. Got busy, then had motorbike accident, and last week started a new job.

That aside, a few weeks ago I installed Solaris Express Developer Edition (64-bit) on an recent dual core intel workstation. The most recent snapshot of flame compiles out of the box on it. Yay.

Just created a binary Solaris package for it, and uploaded to the Sourceforge site:

 http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=58083&package_id=53841&release_id=510611

The above package installs and runs on my system here. I'm very sure it won't work on Solaris 10 however, as that has extremely outdated GLIB/GTK/Gnome libraries. Haven't tried compiling on SPARC yet, though I have several sparc boxes here at home. :)

I used to do a lot of packaging for Solaris, so creating this was a lot faster for me than learning the Ubuntu/Debian packaging system, which so far has felt really Weird and foreign. :( But I'll get there (eventually). :)
