What kind of information are you looking for?
In case it's useful, I'll describe why I may or may not be able to provide the info you're looking for right away.

I've learned that my perspective on things can (broadly speaking) generally fall into one of two areas at a time:
- Strategic thinking - suitable for long term vision and direction, succession planning, building sustainable compatible future goals with other projects, etc.
- Tactical thinking - Short term, immediate need, technical focus.
As I've had my head deeply buried in GTK (and related) programming full time for the past few months, I've transitioned to a very focused "Tactical thinking" perspective. Strategic thinking is difficult for me presently.
While I have a strong vision for where I want Salasaga to go, it's only "in my head". Longer term is fuzzy for me (at the moment) due to my present perspective.
Last year (i.e. November-ish), I was operating in a very strong Strategic thinking mode, and while it would have been beneficial to get things written down, it would have been done without a "working prototype". (i.e. what you seen getting built presently). I strongly prefer to have a "working prototype" of things up and running to validate my thinking, before taking an inordinate amount of time writing potentially non-implementable future plans down.
(Similar in principle to the old saying of "talk is cheap, but actions speak louder than words".)
So, I made the conscious choice to get a working prototype completed to a useful state - knowing full well I'd transition into Tactical thinking - and began coding on this full time.
It's going to take a bit more time working on this prototype until it's to the point I'm happy with it, at which point I'll begin transitioning myself to the Strategic thinking perspective again.
I know from experience it takes me about 2 months to do this kind of transition (real world), and it's
from that point I'll be able to clearly articulate things like the proper project plan, development road map, and more.
Is that helpful?
